  • Itinerary

  • Day 1

    New Delhi to Manali

    All the participants will have to report by 5 PM at R K Ashram Marg Metro station. Overnight bus journey for Manali.

    Day 2- Reporting and Acclimatisation

    Note- People starting from Manali need to reach Rumsu on their Arrival

    All the participants will report at Rumsu base camp by 8 AM. To avail cab facility from Patlikuhal to Rumsu, Please report before 8 AM. Freshening up and breakfast will happen at the base camp. Post breakfast all the participants will undergo registration process.Lunch at 1 PM. Post lunch adventure activity (Rappelling/Rock Climbing). Once the activity gets over, we will go for an acclimatization walk. Evening snacks at 5 PM. Post snacks orientation for the trek will be covered. It will cover all the general instructions that could be helpful for the trek like back packing, marching technique and medical awareness. Overnight stay at Rumsu base camp.

    Day 3

    Trek to Ghan Kulhadi

    After breakfast all the trekkers will start their trek to Ghan Kulhadi (2,800 meters). The trek route goes through some dense forest, full of pine, fir, oak, chestnut trees. There is an ascend for the jungle and takes around 4 to 5 hours to reach to Naya Tapru. We will have our packed lunch at Sterling. Ghan Kulhadi is a large plain green meadow amidst the dense forest. Overnight stay in tents at Ghan Kulhadi camp.

    Day 4

    Trek to Chandrakhani pass and stay at chaklani*

    After breakfast all the trekkers will start their trek to Chandrakhani Pass with their packed lunch. We will start the trek early by 6 AM. The trek route has a moderate ascend and takes around 4 hours to reach Chandrakhani Pass. The highest point of the pass is 3,660 meters. Just adjacent to the Chandrakhani Pass lies Dhana Kunnu Pass. The entire place is associated with the famous Jamdagini Rishi, one of the seven Saptrishi. We will then start our descend from Chandrakhani and will camp at Chaklani. The descend is easy and takes around 2 hours. Overnight stay in tents at Chaklani camp site(If there will be lot of snow participants will stay at Ghan kulhadi)

    Day 5

    Descend to base camp and Departure.

    After the breakfast, all the participants will start their descend for Rumsu base camp. The descend route is the same as the ascend one and takes around 4 hours. Lunch at Sterling while descending.

    Certificate distribution will be held at 3PM. Departure at 4 PM from base camp to New Delhi via Volvo bus.

    Note- People choosing Starting from Manali Package will be dropped at Manali for their onward journey.

    Day 6

    Arrival at New Delhi.

    Arrival at New Delhi by 8 AM.
