The Beas Kund trek start with a short drive to Solang Valley famous for adventure sports and skiing slopes. The Beas Kund trek goes through some of the beautiful campsite of Bakarthach from the view of falling glaciers is unmatched.

Drive from Manali (6,726 ft) to Dhundi (9,317 ft) and trek to Bakarthach (10,850 ft) (5 km , 4-5 hr)
Early morning, we reach Manali and drive towards Dhundi (9317 ft) via Solang (8400 ft), which is known for its summer and winter sport conditions including parachuting, paragliding, skiing and zorbing . Drive from Manali to Dhundi is 25 km and it takes 1 hour. We start our trek from Dhundi. And follow the trail along the river Beas. We cross the stream several times and walk through forests of oak, fir and walnuts. Enroute, we get glimpses of many known peaks of Dhauladhar and Peerpanjal Ranges including Seven sisters, Hanuman Tibba, Shitidhaar and Friendship peak., Through boulders and narrow streams of a dying glacier, we reach our campsite at Bakarthach, that means ‘shepherd’s field’. There we set up an overnight base. You can explore in and around the campsite, look at flocks of sheep grazing peacefully.
Trek from Bakarthach (10,850 ft) to Beas Kund (12,106 ft) and back to Bakarthach (10,850 ft) (4 km, 5 hr)
We start early today. After a short climb up the ridge through Bhoj Patr, we will reach Beas Kund. We will see the serene glacial lake of Beas Kund that is the origin of the mighty river Beas. Later we return to camp at Bakarthach for the night stay.
Trek from Bakarthach (10,850 ft) to Dhundi/ Solang Valley & Drive to Manali (6,726 ft) (5 km,4 hr)
After breakfast, we start our descent back to Solang via Dhundi. Vehicles will be waiting for us there at Dhundi/Solang from here we travel back to Manali, where you can board buses the same day or stay the night at a hotel.
