Bhalukpung is a small town located along the southern reaches of the Himalayas in West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh. The town is located at 213m above sea level, 100 km from Bomdila, 52 km from Tezpur and 5 km from Tipi. It lies along the Kameng river and is the headquarters of Bhalukpung circle. The annual festival Nyethidow of the Aka tribe is celebrated in January at Bhalukpung, Thrizino. Bhalukpung is inhabited by members of the Aka Tribes.

This place to visit is a royal sanctuary, plays home to the royal bengal tiger and many more varieties of flora and fauna. At least 40 mammal species are seen in Pakke Tiger Reserve. Surrounded by rivers on three sides and situated amidst the Himalayan ranges, Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary is a treat to your eyes. Many animals like tigers, Himalayan Black Bears, elephants, flying squirrel etc and rare birds like serpant eagle, great pied Hornbill are found here.
Sessa Orchid Sanctuary
