Budher Caves

At a distance of about 30 km from Chakrata, lies the Budher caves, also known as Miola caves. The name Miola is after the German person who discovered this cave and this cave is now a popular spot to visit for spellunking or exploring caves.
Chilmiri Neck

One of the peak points, Chilmiri is where the cantonment is located. You can view the Rohini Peak, Swarga Peak and the Banderpoonch Massif from here.
Deoban

At 2200 m high, Deoban offers expansive views of the Himalayan ranges and is surrounded by dense deodar forests. Home to wide varieties of Himalayan Woodpeckers, white collared blackbirds and Green Backed tit, these forests attract great number of bird watchers.
Ram Tal Horticultural Garden

One of the popular attractions of Chakrata, Ram Tal Horticultural Garden is located 9 kms from Chakrata on Chakrata-Mussoorie route. This garden also includes different types of lichen, ferns, climbers, conifers, woody trees and plants. Some of the popular birds in this garden are oriental turtle dove, grey treepie and black headed jay. It also has an apple orchid and a small pond. It is a nice place to visit, especially for nature lovers.
Tiger Falls

You can trek up the hill to reach one of the highest Indian waterfalls at 312 ft. high. The waterfall is covered by a backdrop of scenic woody deodars. During peak tourist season this place is a busy picnic spot.
