Adamail Range forming a border with Bangladesh is also referred to as the Patharia Range. Marking the western border of the district, the range is spread over a length of 45 km, with its highest peak elevated at about 800 ft above the sea level.
Chhatachura Range that flanks the town arises from the south-east side of the district. Its highest peak is 2087 ft above the sea level with its middle part known as Saraspur which is 1000 ft high.
Separating the valleys of Longai and Chargola, the Duhalia Range is the 3rd range passing through the district of Karimganj. Popularly referred to as the Pratapgarh Range; its highest hill is 1500 ft above the sea level.
A chivalrous reminder of the past, Malegarh Crematorium is a place where the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the 1857 mutiny were cremated here.
