Located 17 km from Chamoli, Nandprayag is a place of confluence of two holy rivers, Alaknanda and Mandakini. Situated at a height of 914m, the temple by the name of Nand Temple is worth visiting.

What to eat :

Considered as a holy town for Hindus, the food available here is predominantly vegetarian. Owing to the hilly terrain of this place, not many restaurants have been set up here. The major source of food is the roadside stalls that primarily serve only vegetarian delights. Though, a few hotels have in-house restaurants and offer non-vegetarian delicacies.
