Khimsar Fort is a 450 year old structure and is the biggest attraction in this small village. A part of the fort has been converted into a heritage hotel, like many other forts; and another part is the residence to the erstwhile royal family.

This so-called separate village is an amazing place to be. It lies in the middle of endless expanse and one can spend forever just seeing the different shades of the sand. The Village In the centre of the Khimsar village, there is an oasis type water body. It is a beautiful little small village having a couple of temples, namely the Sachhiyamata Temple and the Jain Temple.
