How to reach :

By Air :

Mandi does not have an airport. The nearest airport is Bhuntar Airport. Cabs are available from the airport.

By Rail :

The nearest broad gauge railhead to the town is Pathankot (210 km) which further connects with narrow gauge Joginder Nagar railhead which is 55 km from Mandi. Bus or cab can be availed from there onwards to your destination.

By Road :

The city of Mandi is easily connected from neighbouring cities and states like Delhi, Punjab and Haryana through regular HRTC bus service.

Barot, a quaint little village with just the right location for a picnic is a situated almost 33 km from Mandi. It serves as the main breeding ground for trout fishes and thus is famous for fishing and angling.

Bhima Kali Temple :

Bhima Kali Temple is one of the famous temples of the Mandi dedicated to Goddess Bhima Kali. Situated on the banks of River Beas, this temple also showcases different statues and idols of Gods and Goddesses in a museum.

Bhutnath temple :

The spirituality of this temple dates back to 1520s and is as old as the town itself. Located almost at the centre of the town, the temple is devoted to Lord Shiva.

Situated almost 80 km from Mandi city, this fort is standing proudly on Sikandar Dhar ranges. Built by Raja Suraj Sen in 1625, it stands to hover at a height of 4772 meters.

Serenity is the first thing that comes to the mind with Shikhari Devi Temple. Located 15 km from Mandi, the trekking to this temple at a height of 3332 m above the sea level is quite exciting.

It is best known for its local handicrafts which also includes silver jewellery. One can take back these handicrafts as a souvenir back home.

Sunder Nagar :

With stunning landscape and a gorgeous fertile valley, Sunder Nagar is situated on the National Highway. A perfect place to take a break, the place is known for Asia’s biggest Hydel Project with the confluence of two major rivers, Sutlej and Beas.
