Located at Deosal Village near Pabitora Wildlife Sanctuary, this temple as the name suggests is dedicated to Lord Shiva. If you are visiting the place during the festival of Shivratri, you can take part in the festival that takes place at the site during the occasion.

Marigaon does not offer many shopping options but if you are visiting the place then do buy dry fish. The place also houses Asia’s largest dry fish market and exports it to many southeast countries.


Sitajakhala is a famous ancient temple discovered during the last year of the fourth decade of the last century. Nestled on the banks of River Killing, the temple is adorned with many idols of Goddess Sita and Lord Hanuman.
