Ladakh is a land of valleys and Passes. This trip from Manali to Manali has become more special from the year 2022 onwards because of the variety of experiences it adds to the already exciting Ladakh trip. Because of the off-roading conditions this route offers, this trip will be done with Royal Enfield Himalayan Bikes only. You can also experience the tent stay at Padum as the place does not have any hotel facilities.


Day 1: Arrival in Manali

You will reach by bus to Manali, our representative will pick you up from the Bus stand and take you to the hotel. Explore the city for a while on your own, in the evening the tour captain will give you all a briefing about the trip. The bikes will be allocated and other formalities will also be done today.

Day 2: Manali to Jispa

We will leave early for Jispa so that we can beat the traffic which we will face at the Rohtang Pass (13,050 ft). After spending some time at the top of the pass we will descend to the Lahaul valley. We will cover 140 km which will take us 7 – 10 hours. We will see waterfalls, snow, snow-capped peaks, rivers, and many such natural beauties en route to Jispa. Reach Jispa by the evening and retire for the day.

Day 3: Jispa to Padum via Shango La Pass ( 140 Kms)

After breakfast, start the tour towards Zanskar on the newly opened road. It's a bit hard to ride but with the best landscape. It takes time to cross Shingo la pass and pictures with the grand mountain Gumbo Ranjan (Mahakal) and river crossing, etc. After a meal at the campsite, you ride to Padum which is just around 50 kilometers. Tonight you stay at a nice Alpine Tents.

Day 4: Padum to Kargil (240 Kms)

This is a bit of a hard day. This route was just opened in August 2020 and it's a road made for 4x4 vehicles that connect you to Leh - Srinagar highway with an off-road shortcut. Around 240 kilometers of the ride will be covered in daylight. At night, stay at Kargil Hotel.

Day 5: Kargil To Leh (220 Km)

During the ensuing stretch of the motorbike trip to Leh Ladakh tour, we will cross two high-elevation mountain passes. On leaving Kargil, you will first pass through Mulbek — a giant living Buddha sculpture on a rock mountain, and Lamayuru — one of the oldest monasteries of Ladakh and enjoy the view of the moon landscape. Then get amazed by the intriguing phenomenon of magnetic hills and enjoy the divinity at Gurudwara Pathar sahib. On arrival in the city by evening, head to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Leh to Nubra Valley

Get ready as today you will cross the highest pass in the world, Khardung La (17,580 ft). Today’s distance will be comparatively less – 140 km (6 – 7 hours). After crossing the Khardung La you will enter the Nubra valley in some time. Reach Hunder sand dunes (Nubra valley) and see the rare Bactrian camel and enjoy the scenic beauty of the valley. See the panoramic view of the valley from the Diskit Monastery.

Day7: Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso

Post breakfast we will leave for the very famous Pangong Tso. Covering 160 km in 6 -7 hours, we will ride along the Shyok River for 2/3 of the journey. Reach Pangong Tso by late afternoon and spend some time near the lake just mesmerizing its beauty. If lucky you will be able to see 7+ shades of blue of the lake.

Day 8: Pangong Tso to Leh

We will head to Leh today and cover 155 km in 6 -7 hours. Before climbing the second highest pass of the world (17,510 ft) we will see a small but beautiful lake, Tsoltak. The road condition at the pass isn’t smooth, but that’s good because everyone has come on an adventure trip. If time permits, explore the city of Leh.

Day 9: Leh to Sarchu

This day is the start of your return journey toward Manali. Start Early in the morning and reach Sarchu covering Gata Loops, More Plains. Reach in the evening and Overnight stay at Sarchu

Day 10: Sarchu to Manali

It is the last day of your bike journey on this Ladakh trip. You start in the morning and reach Manali late in the evening. Reach Manali and overnight stay at Manali

Day 11: Departure from Manali

Have breakfast in the morning and check out of the hotel. Evening Catch Volvo to Chandigarh / Delhi.

  • Cost of any spare part which will be used due to the accidental damage incurred when the motorbike is in the rider’s possession.
  • The cost incurred to transfer or tow the motorbike in case it is dropped on the way.
  • Vehicle servicing or maintenance cost(if own bike)
  • Any lunch and other meals not mentioned in package inclusions
  • Security deposit per motorbike of Rs. 10,000/-. As per the deposit policy (This is refundable at the end of the trip if there is no damage or spare parts used.)
  • Parking and monument entry fees during sightseeing.
  • Any cost incurred due to extension, change of itinerary due to natural calamities, road, blocks, vehicle breakdown, union issues, and factors beyond our control
  • Additional accommodation/food costs incurred due to any delay
