Leh Bike trip is through hidden over high passes in an arid. largely treeless rain shadow so, Ladakh boasts of a classic Trans Himalayan scenery. Huge khaki-coloured valleys and big rock walls brought alive due to the occasional splash of irrigated green. Traditional Tibetan Buddhist culture remains intact here because with beautiful monasteries that burst into life. During dance festivals that have changed little in over 500 years.
This contains everything an adventure lover wants. Epic treks, sparkling high-altitude mountain lakes and a well developed backpacker infrastructure based around the capital, Leh.
Leh, high-desert city in the Himalayas, is the capital of the Leh region in northern India’s Jammu and Kashmir state. Originally a stop for trading caravans, Leh is now known for its Buddhist sites and nearby trekking areas. Massive 17th-century Leh Palace, modeled on the Dalai Lama’s former home (Tibet’s Potala Palace), overlooks the old town’s bazaar and mazelike lanes.
Leh has a cold desert climate (Köppen climate classification BWk) with long, cold winters from late November to early March, with minimum temperatures well below freezing for most of the winter. The city gets occasional snowfall during winter. The weather in the remaining months is generally fine and warm during the day. Average annual rainfall is only 102 mm (4.02 inches). In 2010 the city experienced flash floods which killed more than 100 people. 12 inches of snowfall is nearly equal to one inch of rainfall in water volume.

Detailed Itinerary
DAY 1: ARRIVAL LEH
After your arrival in the wonderful land of Ladakhmeet our team representative and proceed towards your hotel accommodation. Spend the rest of the day exploring the magical Leh at your own leisurely pace. Make sure to visit the Shanti stupa, Leh market and the famous Leh palace.Make sure to get some rest before you begin your famous Ladakhi adventure.
DAY 2: SHAM VALLEY TOUR
Post a hearty breakfast start the adventure of a lifetime. Begin your journey towards Sham valley, which has plenty of apricot trees. Also explore the Gurudwara pathar sahib, magnetic hill and Alchi monastery. You will also get to witness the confluence of the Zanskar and the Indus river in the beautiful Sham valley. Return to Leh by the evening and spend the rest of the day at your own leisurely pace.
DAY 3: LEH TO NUBRA VALLEY
Have a scrumptious breakfast and get ready, as today you will climb the highest motorable pass of the world, Khardung La (17,580 ft). Today you will cover a distance of 140 km which will take 5-6 hours. Witness the magnificence of the highest pass and the surreal Nubra valley. Witness the rare Bactrian Camel and a mix of natural beauties like; sand dunes in the Hunder valley during your Ladakh trip.
DAY 4: NUBRA VALLEY TO PANGONG TSO LAKE VIA SHYOK
Wake up to a beautiful morning surrounded by fantastic views whilst getting ready, as today you will be embarking on an adventure to the incredible Pangong Tso.Riding alongside the Shyok River till the Shyok village (95 km) which is 2/3 the journey, the total distance is about 160 km which can be covered in about 6-7 hours. The view leading to the lake will leave you in awe. A person can see various shades of blue if the sun is out.
DAY 5: PANGONG LAKE TO LEH
Wake up to a beautiful view and delicious breakfast before you set out for Leh. Cross a small and scenic Ladakh lakeTsoltak, en route. After Tsoltak the quality of the road deteriorates as you climb the second highest pass of the world, Chang La (17,510 ft). The distance of 155 km will be covered in 6-7 hours during this day’s ride.
DAY 6: LEH DEPARTURE
Post an authentic Ladakhi breakfast,begin your journey back home
