Detailed Itinerary for SUV Trip To Ladakh: Srinagar-Leh-Srinagar

Day 1: Srinagar – Kargil (205 Kms/5Hours)

Early morning depart for Kargil, on arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. Check in and enjoy the day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Kargil.

Day 2: Kargil – Leh (215 Kms/6 Hours)

After breakfast checkout and transfer to Leh. On arrival check into the hotel and enjoy the day at leisure. Later take a complete rest for acclimatization to the arid high altitude of Leh (3505 m).
Leh Place: is build by King Sengge Namgail of Namgail Dynasty in 17th century. The Palace is nine story high and it overlook the leh main Market, Stok Kangri. The upper story was earlier used by the royal family. Now the palace is open for tourist. The collection of jewelry, ornaments, thangkas, ceremonial dresses, crowns and centuries-old pieces of jewelry are kept here for public display.
Overnight stay at hotel in Leh.

Day 03 Leh – Nubra valley (125Kms / 4Hrs)

Today after breakfast drive about 04- 05 hrs [125 kms] to Nubra – known as valley of flowers. After drive about 02 hrs we will reach – The world’s highest motor able road called Khardungla high about 18,380 feet’s above sea level. From the top we can see the most beautiful view of Indus valley & its snow covered peaks towering the sky and other side of the pass. If weather remain clear we can see Karakorum mountain range and peaks too. We descend down to beautiful valley & transfer to the hotel. Later have rest till evening and before sunset we will take you for a short drive to Hunder sand dunes to visit & ride double humped bacterium camel. Later back to hotel for overnight stay. If time permits we will have a village walk to see local people & its culture.

Day 04 Nubra to Leh

Morning after breakfast we will visit the most picturesque Disket monastery on the hill top. Later continue drive to other side of Nubra valley – was the main part of silk route. We will continue our drive back to Leh via Khardungla. Reach Leh & transfer to Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 05: Leh to Pangong, via Chang la pass – 5320mts) (150 kms /5-6hrs) Excursion

After breakfast, drive (154km/ 6 hrs) to the spectacular Changthang Valley, winding your way over the exhilarating Chang la (5320m). The second highest point of our journey. The landscape on the way to Pangong is just spectacular. On arrival enjoy the famous Pangong lake.
The Lake is situated at 13,930 ft./ about 4300mts. above sea level and is 125 km long, but is  only 4km at its widest, and extends almost in a straight line, way to Tibet; in fact only a quarter of the lake is in India.
Later return back to Leh. Overnight stay at hotel in Ladakh.

Day 6: Leh – Kargil (215 Kms/ 8 Hours)

After breakfast checkout and depart for Kargil, as it’s a long journey hence its advisable to leave early. On arrival check into the hotel and enjoy the day at leisure.

Day 7: Kargil – Srinagar

After breakfast check out and depart for Srinagar where your trip ends.

  1. Hotel rooms are subject to availability at the time of booking.
  2. In case of unavailability in the listed hotels, arrangement for an alternate accommodation will be made in  a hotel of similar standard.
  3. Room heaters if required can be provided on chargeable basis, subject to availability.
  4. Hot water is only provided for 2 hours during the morning and evening in Leh. In camps, hot water is only available for a limited time in the morning.
  5. Only vegetarian meals are served at Nubra and Pangong.
  6. Connectivity (phone as well as internet) is poor and unreliable in Ladakh. Most hotels will not have a Wi-Fi connection.
  7. Transportation shall be provided as per the itinerary and will not be at disposal.
  8. It is mandatory for all guests to carry valid photo IDs (Passport/Driving License/Voter ID Card). PAN Card is not accepted at many places as a valid photo ID.
  9. Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, cancellation / re-routing of flights, closure of / entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.
  10. People from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, China, Myanmar and Bhutan cannot travel to restricted areas outside Leh such as Nubra Valley, Pangong, and Tsomoriri etc.
  11. Nationals of countries other than these can travel to Ladakh provided they don’t have a Diplomatic passport.

  13. Per person prices are quoted on twin-share basis (2 persons sharing a room).
  14. A maximum of 3 adults are allowed in one room.
  15. The third occupant of the room shall be provided a mattress/roll-away bed.

Additional cost due to flight cancellation/ road blocks, Political unrest etc.

Cancellation Policy:

25% of the package OR min prepayment, whichever is higher will be charged as penalty in case of Cancellation 15 or more days prior to departure.
100% of package cost will be charged as penalty in case of Cancellation Within 15 days before departure.
Airline policy will be applicable and charged accordingly while canceling air tickets
Visa fee will be non-refundable in case of international travel
All Non-Refundable services will charged in full while canceling the package / services
