Weekend Stay In Mudumalai
Mudumalai is popular for its sightseeing places and wildlife. So, it provides you the best scenic view when you walk by the streams, rivers, waterfalls, or just take a stroll in the deep valleys. Bandipur national park is close to this place. Therefore, it is known for its population of tigers. It was once the private hunting ground of the Maharajas of Mysore, the park also harbors Indian elephants, spotted deer, gaurs (bison), antelopes and numerous other native species.
Though it’s a year-round destination, the simplest time to go to Mudumalai park is from March to June and from September to October.
The summer season in Tamil Nadu starts by February and stays till May. The park is typically dry and warm during this point. So, many animals are often seen out around within the open, usually near water sources. Summer season is a perfect time to identify animals with their offspring call at the open, alongside some rare birds of the region. Though it’s essentially dry and warm during this point, one can expect infrequent showers every now then.
