The Forest is natural and unpolluted as there aren’t any vehicles’ permission into the forest. The lake is that the only means of transport inside the sanctuary. Therefore trekking isn’t on adventurous here but also healthy and refreshing. Those that are eager about wildlife and are addicted to nature fans will never leave Thekkady unhappy.
Tribal communities like “mannans”, “Aurealis” and plenty of others sleep in the Periyar forests. Thekkady is famous for its spices. The spice orchard in Thekkady is benefiting a visit. Because the arm of famous Indian spices that are spread in and around the plantation betray you, touching your highest senses. So after a visit here, visitor can understand spices. That spices are cultivated, harvested and processed.
